Women's hospital and fertility Centre is located in Kampala, Uganda on Sali Nakazi Lane off Bukoto Kisasi Road. Women's hospital and fertility Centre is rated 3 out of 5 in the category making families complete in Uganda. We are privileged to house one of the largest groups of dedicated specialists in the fields of gynaecology, fertility and maternity in East and Central Africa. Our team consists of experienced medical doctors, scientists, nurses and counselors from Europe and the Diaspora. WHI was officially opened In September 2005 by His Excellency, The President of the Republic of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni after becoming the first Hospital in East and Central Africa to register the first IVF (Test Tube) baby in 2004. In addition to fertility treatment, we are the first hospital in Uganda to have carried out Laparoscopic myomectomy (keyhole) surgery. By the end of 2014 we would have had over 2000 IVF/ICSI babies born at our hospital. Our mission is to provide patients with high success rates and excellence in fertility, Gynaecology and Maternity care in a manner, which respects people’s dignity and individuality in a safe and high quality environment.
