PINA Uganda works with vulnerable children such as victims of child sexual violence and children living with HIV/AIDS to elevate their standards of living and trains them to become social justice advocates and role models in their communities. People In Need Agency (PINA) is a NGO organization established in 2008 to provide hope and support to youths especially those living with HIV through provision of information ,counseling and empowerment skills to reduce vulnerability to poverty , HIV infection and re-infection as well as improving adherence to anti-retro viral therapy among HIV positive youths. Goal: To mobilize all vulnerable children both men and women, who are struggling to survive and we work closely with marginalized HIV+ youths and children who are in need of Psychosocial and economic empowerment to cope with the challenges of living with HIV/AIDS. Motto: We create hope and happiness by giving them love, care and an environment to enable them achieve excellence. As we raise these children with elevated standards and expectations, they become advocates, peer educators, role models and resourceful people in their schools and communities.
