Nalongo Youth Empowerment (NYE) is a non-profit organization, created to improve the lives of ordinary people by helping with the challenges the nation faces today. It is our core objective to work for the common man in our country, to uplift and elevate their standard of living. NYE aims to be a platform for empowering Uganda youth by providing means to education and vocational training. We will also engage with communities to provide Safe Drinking Water to underprivileged areas and to promote the importance of education. Ultimately, NYE Uganda aims to create develop human resources for the benefit of Uganda society as a whole. Our Approach Learning & Sharing Through this approach, we contribute to filling the gap in youth research and data on our priority areas, relying heavily on our nationwide partnership base, and the tapping of qualified research professionals from within and outside Uganda Training & Capacity Development Training and Capacity Building have been key to all our programmes at Nalongo Youth Empowerment. Advocacy & Campaigning Advocacy and Campaigning remain an important approach in carrying out our work at Nalongo Youth Empowerment. Service Delivery We deliver services that empower youth succeed in becoming life-long learners, productive members of society, materially sufficient and self-respecting citizens. Scope of Work Factors mentioned not only create problems related to self-esteem but also lead to major issues such as child sexual abuse, problems of growing age, peer pressure, addiction and infectious diseases like hepatitis and HIV/AIDS. Therefore, now we are going to focus on the aforementioned issues individually to gain a better insight into the existing problems and propose effective solutions concerning the role of key stakeholders in mind.
