Diploma and Certificate Programs take 2 years while Short Courses last from one week to about 8 months. It generally depends on the nature of training. To qualify for a Diploma enrollment, one must have a UACE (A’level) with at least ONE (1) PRINCIPAL PASS, and TWO (2) SUBSIDIARIES in key subjects and FIVE (5) PASSES at UCE (O’level) or its equivalent or a certificate (Credit Class) from a recognized Institution. A semester runs for duration of four months (17 weeks) of which the 17th week is the examinations and assessment period. To qualify for a certificate enrollment in the first ten certificate programs, you do not need to have any prior academic background and to apply for all other certificate courses; one must have THREE (3) PASSES at O’level or its equivalent.
