After doing a lot of research and finding out that many children in Uganda and Africa at large never celebrate birthdays or even know that it’s their birthday, and that most of the children in the areas of the great lakes region particularly kabale, kisoro, kanungu and kasese districts which are blessed best tourist destinations in Uganda were not attending school due to lack of school fees and scholastic materials. I decided to start a sponsorship program which would focus on school fees and scholastic materials for the orphans and the most vulnerable children in these districts and see these children go to school for basic education, I came up with an idea of founding a travel company, through which travelers would enjoy adventure and use the proceeds to run the sponsorship program, Mission statement: To tap the opportunity of adventure and divert it into charity that would see hundreds and in the long run thousands of orphaned children and the most vulnerable children access basic education and scholastic materials. Vision: To reach out to as many as we can through providing basic needs of life (education, heath, clothing, food and shelter) being the voice to the voiceless so as to create self sustaining communities and break the cycle of poverty among the orphaned and most vulnerable children in the great lakes region by tapping into the tourism potential of the area.
