Girls Unstoppable Uganda (GU-UG) offers merit based scholarship opportunities to vulnerable girls, coaching, mentor-ship, advocacy and has partnered with the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development, Eco-pads, Uganda Network of Young People Living with HIV, Pacesetter' Initiative for Africa and Fountains for Change in their different programs to ensure that girls go to and stay in School. with just one year in Service, Girls Unstoppable Uganda has organised and successfully run one social media fundraising campaign to raise money to procure pads for girls. proceeds from this have this have been used to change the menstruation experience of 100 girls in rural Gomba District and many girls and their teachers in Central and Western Uganda schools equipped with knowledge and skills on how to handle menstruation through the GU-UG re-known Menstruation Clinic. GU-UG has done research on factors that keep girls out of school in rural Uganda and has therefore geared its efforts towards solving these myriad of challenges. It has donated 300 books to schools, offered career guidance to over 500 students and continues to advocate for the rights of the girl Child. GU-UG stands with Girls.
