MedDuka enhances collaboration between pharmaceutical distributors and retail pharmacies by incorporating a Scan-Based Trading (SBT) model to a supplier's​ distribution strategy. SBT allows distributors to maintain ownership of physical inventory within a retailer's store until items are scanned and sold at the point of sale. We achieve this through our state-of-the-art mobile point of sale (POS) solution for retailers and scan-based trading platform for distributors, while taking on shrink management risks and tasks associated. Our SBT cloud-based application provides pharma distributors with visibility into store-level Product Movement, Invoice Data Synchronization and Matching, in addition to Payment Automation as well as Performance Analytics and Forecasting. This enables suppliers to spend more time merchandising products and removes time-consuming operational drudgery from the retailer-supplier relationship.
