COD-Africa is the Christian focused and mission driven Nonprofit Organization that helps the most disadvantaged children, women and Youth in Uganda. COD-Africa works in 6 districts across Uganda, working in areas largely unreached by other organization. Our goal is to provide the practical support by empowering very poor Women, Youth and Children to pursue their own pathways of change and become self-reliant in a community. Currently we partner with 10 churches in five districts of Uganda. We are serving God, by advancing the well-being of children, youths, families and communities through partnerships with Like-minded local churches and local communities in Uganda. Our most important goal is to restore the dignity of the child, youth and a women by providing a loving and accepting community that promotes healing and restoration and our biggest strength is to help them to get on their own feet so as to use their own God-given abilities to provide for their family and transform the community. COD-Africa represents a unique initiative to facilitate a meaningful life of child, youth transformation and community-driven change over the long term on a sustainable scale.
